‘Visit records achieved by IMG World of Adventures during Eid Al-Fitr’
Dubai’s IMG Worlds of Adventure, the largest indoor theme park in the city, experienced a remarkable milestone on April 9 and 10, 2024, the first two days of Eid El Fitr. The combined number of visitors to the park and the newly reopened Haunted Hotel on those days was unprecedented.
The following day, April 11, 2024, saw a significant increase in visitors to IMG Worlds of Adventure, with a 29 percent rise compared to the previous year’s attendance during the same period. This also marked a 16 percent increase from the first two days of Eid El Fitr in the previous year. The revamped Haunted Hotel proved to be a major attraction, drawing in crowds.
Illyas Galadari, the Board of Director and Owner, expressed pride in Dubai’s global appeal, attributing the success of the park during Eid El Fitr to the city’s ability to attract tourists from around the world. He emphasized IMG Worlds of Adventure as a key draw for visitors.
Mustafa Galadari, another Board of Director and Owner, highlighted the park’s commitment to innovation and creativity, particularly with the newly revamped Haunted Hotel. The influx of guests on the first two days of Eid confirmed the success of their strategy.
IMG’s Arabian Nights of Eid El Fitr celebrations were also a hit, with families and children enjoying puppet performances of famous Arabian folktales like Aladdin, Ali Baba, and the Flying Horse in the park’s Arabic City.
