Two planes carrying aid arrive at Arish airport for Palestinians

Two aid planes carrying medical supplies for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip landed at Arish International Airport on Thursday, as confirmed by a source at the airport.

The first plane, dispatched by the UAE, transported 9.71 tonnes of medical supplies, while the second plane arrived from Saudi Arabia, the source revealed.

Following their arrival, the aid shipment was transported to warehouses in Arish, where preparations were made to facilitate their entry into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border terminal. This operation was carried out in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent, UNRWA, and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The humanitarian aid provided by these two planes is expected to make a significant impact on the medical assistance available to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during this critical time.

This gesture highlights the ongoing support and solidarity extended to the people of Palestine from various international partners.
