As the Eid Al Adha break approaches, UAE residents are eagerly planning their holiday getaways, with Skyscanner unveiling the top trends and insights among travelers from the region. According to the data, 14 June 2024 is the most popular travel departure date during this period, with 53% of UAE travelers searching for trips lasting one week or less. Additionally, 33% of travelers are looking for trips that are 1-2 weeks long, while 14% are seeking holidays up to a month.

The global travel marketplace also highlighted five destinations experiencing a surge in popularity among UAE travelers. These trending destinations include New York, Tokyo, Athens, Dublin, and Malé, with New York leading the pack with a 525% year-on-year spike in searches for June departures.

In terms of the most searched cities by UAE travelers ahead of Eid Al Adha, London, Athens, New York, Cairo, and Manchester top the list. Skyscanner’s Travel Expert, Ayoub El Mamoun, commented on the dynamic shift in travel preferences, emphasizing the adventurous spirit of UAE travelers and the diverse range of destinations capturing their imagination.

This tool reveals return flights to Italy from AED 980, France from AED 1,135, and Spain from AED 1,308 round trip.
