‘Revamped Loyalty Program Introduced by Etihad Airlines’

Etihad Airways is set to relaunch its Etihad Guest loyalty program in June 2024, offering enhanced benefits and rewards to its members. The program will now give members greater control over their experiences, allowing them to choose benefits that align with their travel preferences. Additionally, a new elite Diamond tier has been introduced to recognize and reward the airline’s top flyers.

Mark Potter, Managing Director of Etihad Guest, expressed excitement about the program’s evolution, stating that the enhancements aim to elevate the member experience to new heights. By investing time with the airline through flying and engaging with lifestyle partners, members can enjoy more personalized and rewarding experiences tailored to their needs.

Notable changes to the program include revised pricing for GuestSeats, with reduced miles required for popular destinations in both Economy and Business classes. For example, members can now book flights from Abu Dhabi to London in Economy Class for 30,000 EYG Miles and taxes, among other enticing offers.

In addition, members will continue to earn Tier Miles and Etihad Guest Miles on bookings made starting in June. Higher fare brands will result in more accrued miles, allowing members to progress through tiers and unlock additional benefits faster. Platinum Tier members will also benefit from a 100% Bonus Etihad Guest Miles when flying with Etihad Airways or eligible airline partners.

Moreover, Etihad Guest members will now have the opportunity to upgrade to The Residence, the airline’s luxurious three-room suite in the sky, using their accumulated miles. These changes aim to provide members with a more rewarding and personalized travel experience.
