Barzman Introduces Label-Less Bottle Concept to Promote Environmental Sustainability

The Chairman of International Foods & Beverages LLC, Saif Mohamad Khatrosh Alnoumani, introduced the innovative design at a ceremony attended by officials from various government and private agencies at the Barzman National LLC headquarters.

The Label-Less Bottle concept is a move towards streamlining the recycling process by eliminating foreign materials like OPP labels and glue. This decision prioritizes environmental sustainability, making PET bottle recycling easier and contributing to a more efficient circular economy.

Ahmed Al Hajri, General Manager of International Foods & Beverages LLC, emphasized Barzman’s commitment to sustainability and innovation through this initiative. By reducing plastic use and simplifying the recycling process, the company aims to create a cleaner and greener future for the GCC community and beyond.

This pioneering move aims to transform the PET bottle recycling landscape by promoting rPET usage for environmental sustainability at every stage. Barzman recognizes the economic viability and hygiene of PET material, showcasing the low carbon footprint associated with PET recycling, surpassing alternatives like glass bottles and aluminum cans.

Barzman has a history of eco-friendly packaging solutions, such as introducing short-neck bottles to reduce over 20% of plastics in bottled water production. The company has also implemented various lightweighting initiatives to significantly reduce plastic waste.
