Expansion of Global Reach Through New R&D Hubs and Experience Centers to Facilitate Growth

In a significant move towards innovation, Genetec is expanding its global presence with the establishment and growth of new R&D hubs in strategic locations such as Vienna (Austria), Krakow (Poland), and Orléans (France). These additions will complement Genetec’s existing campuses in Montréal, Québec City, Sherbrooke (Canada), Paris (France), and Bruges (Belgium.

Christian Morin, Vice President of Product Engineering at Genetec Inc., emphasized the importance of these new hubs as innovation centers fostering collaboration among developers to create forward-thinking technology. Morin highlighted that the company has increased its R&D team by 50% in the last five years to meet the growing demand for Genetec’s innovative solutions.

Furthermore, Genetec has recently launched state-of-the-art Experience Centres in Washington D.C. (USA), Sydney (Australia), and Dubai (UAE), in addition to existing centres in Montréal, Paris, the City of London, Singapore, and Mexico City. The company has also expanded its headquarters in Montréal and offices in London, Paris, Vienna, and São Paulo.

Since 2020, Genetec has seen a 52% increase in total headcount, with over 2,100 employees across 20 offices on four continents. The company is actively recruiting for over 80 new positions, including openings in R&D across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions to support its organic growth.
