Expansion of Engine Range for Power Generation by FPT Industrial

FPT Industrial, a brand under the Iveco Group focused on creating low-environmental impact powertrains, has announced the expansion of its engine line-up for power generation with the introduction of the new 4-cylinder G-Drive R24.

Set to be unveiled at the Middle East Energy event in Dubai, the new G-Drive R24 is designed to provide an efficient solution for emergency and prime power applications in the 20 to 40kVA range.

The R24 marks FPT Industrial’s entry into the low-displacement power generation sector. This compact four-cylinder G-Drive includes an engine, radiator, and air filter all in a small footprint. The single-side servicing feature simplifies and speeds up maintenance tasks.

Equipped with a reliable mechanical pump, the R24 engine platform is available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged models, offering power outputs ranging from 20 kVA to 40 kVA.

This new engine model boasts excellent transient load response for standby and prime applications. Its ability to switch between 50 Hz to 60 Hz enables efficient stock management for customers.
