‘Donatella Versace and John Legend make an appearance at grand opening of fashion house’

The highly anticipated Palazzo Versace Macau officially opened its doors in Macao over the weekend, featuring a star-studded event with performances by John Legend and harpist Yu Dan. Donatella Versace, the creative genius behind the Italian luxury brand and sister to its founder Gianni Versace, personally greeted guests at the grand opening.

The new Palazzo Versace Macau, situated within one of the towers of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, boasts 171 lavish rooms and suites spread across 12 floors. Guests can enjoy upscale amenities such as two Italian restaurants, a wellness retreat, personal training studio, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Describing the hotel as “the only couture-focused designer hotel in Macao,” Daisy Ho, managing director of SJM Resorts which owns Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, emphasized the unique luxury experience that Palazzo Versace brings to the city. Ho also highlighted how the new hotel elevates Macao’s status as a premier destination for discerning travelers worldwide, offering an unparalleled level of branded hospitality.

This marks the second Palazzo Versace to open globally, following the inaugural location in Dubai in 2016. With such opulent offerings and a star-studded launch event, Palazzo Versace Macau is set to become a top choice for luxury travelers seeking a lavish and exclusive experience in Macao.
