Bringing Ramadan Joy to Hong Kong Youth: Ramadan Program at Local School

The Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Hong Kong recently spearheaded a meaningful initiative to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan with local youth at the Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College. As Muslims around the globe observe the month of fasting, the Consulate General organized special activities and distributed iftar packages to students, emphasizing values of tolerance, inclusion, and peace.

The event saw students engaging in Ramadan and Islamic-themed activities, with UAE Consul General in Hong Kong H.E. Sheikh Saoud Almulla awarding certificates to participants. He highlighted the significance of upholding these values and commended the multicultural environment of the school, mirroring the harmonious coexistence found in the UAE with over 200 nationalities.

In keeping with the traditions of Ramadan, iftar packages were distributed to 400 students and staff at the school, embodying principles of generosity and spiritual renewal. The initiative aimed to foster meaningful engagement with local youth and cultivate a sense of joy within the community.

As the Holy Month continues, the Consulate General of the UAE in Hong Kong strives to uphold these values and create a sense of unity among diverse communities.
