Winners of Excellence Award in Foreign Affairs Honoured by Abdullah bin Zayed

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently recognized the outstanding achievements of 34 individuals and entities at the 5th Minister of Foreign Affairs Excellence Award ceremony in Abu Dhabi. The event, held at the ministry’s headquarters, was attended by top officials including Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State.

During the ceremony, 18 accredited foreign missions and nine departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were honored for their exceptional work. Additionally, seven ministry employees were awarded for their contributions to advancing the ministry’s goals and values.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of institutional excellence as a key strategic approach for building a bright future based on efficiency and creativity. He commended the winners for their innovative ideas and dedication to excellence in their respective roles.

Established in 2014, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Excellence Award aims to enhance the institutional and functional performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It serves as a catalyst for providing exceptional services to customers and stakeholders.

The award recipients will now have the opportunity to participate in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award as part of the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme. Congratulations to all the winners on their well-deserved recognition!
