‘Willi Candra Appointed Chief Digital and Tech Officer at Conair’
Conair, a well-known company in the consumer goods industry, is ramping up its digital capabilities by welcoming Willi Candra to its leadership team as the chief digital and technology officer. This newly created role comes as part of a restructuring of the company’s digital, IT, and business support teams, aimed at accelerating growth in data analytics and program management. This move follows the recent appointment of Kristie Juster as the new president and CEO of Conair.
Candra joins Conair from Kimball International, where he spearheaded digital transformation efforts as the chief digital and information officer. With extensive experience in overseeing digital, IT, analytics, and cybersecurity, Candra brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role at Conair. Prior to his time at Kimball International, Candra spent close to 20 years at Newell Brands, focusing on IT architecture and emerging technologies.
During his time at Newell Brands, Candra worked on various projects including the Digital Technology e-commerce division and the Enterprise Enabling Technology business, with a focus on web and mobile applications, intelligent automation such as bots and AI, cloud-based engineering, and enterprise application integration.
Kristie Juster, Conair’s CEO, expressed her excitement about having Willi Candra join the team, stating, “I am confident that Willi’s leadership, combined with our new organizational structure, will bring increased rigor and help accelerate our business at all levels.” Conair’s focus on enhancing its digital capabilities with the addition of Candra demonstrates the company’s commitment to staying ahead in the rapidly evolving consumer goods industry.
