‘Venues and Exhibition Spaces Revealed for 2024 Design Week in Clerkenwell’

Clerkenwell Design Week is set to return to London from May 21st to May 23rd, 2024. The event will showcase nearly 600 carefully selected events spread across the EC1 neighborhood in East Central London, with over 160 local design shops and 300 exhibitors taking over 12 venues.

Marlon Cera-Marle, Design Division Director of Media 10, the organizers of the festival, expressed excitement about the upcoming event. He highlighted the importance of Clerkenwell Design Week as a platform to discover new talent and ideas. Cera-Marle also mentioned the expansion of exhibition and installation spaces, including the newly revamped Clerkenwell Green.

A variety of site-specific installations and special projects will be featured during the event. 2LG Studio will present “Stay Playful (When No One Feels Like Playing),” a colorful installation located in Spa Fields to mark the studio’s 10th anniversary. London-based artist Ben Cullen Williams will showcase an audio-visual installation titled “Grid System” at the House of Detention, exploring the impact of grids on physical spaces and daily lives.

Additionally, Duffy London and Orsi Orban will collaborate on an installation called “Gatekeepers” at St John’s Gate, inspired by organic forms found in nature. The sculptures aim to evoke a dynamic sense of movement through their interaction with flowing forms.

Clerkenwell Design Week promises to be an exciting event with diverse brands, showrooms, special partners, and events. The festival will offer a unique opportunity to experience innovative design concepts and emerging talent in the industry.
