Venchi, an Italian chocolate brand, set to launch in the Philippines by 2024

Italian chocolatier Venchi is set to sweeten up the Philippines with its highly anticipated arrival of gelato and artisanal chocolates. The first Venchi branch in Metro Manila will open at Central Square in Bonifacio Global City in the last quarter of 2024, as announced by local specialty retailer SSI Group, known for bringing other popular international brands like Shake Shack and SaladStop! to the country.

This expansion marks Venchi’s entry into Southeast Asia, introducing over 350 exquisitely crafted Italian chocolates and 90 gelato flavors to Filipino consumers. Renowned for its customized chocolate shopping experience and creatively named chocolates made from 100% natural ingredients with less sugar and no artificial additives, Venchi will also offer a selection of low-sugar chocolate varieties.

The Venchi brand is famous for its Chocogelateria, featuring a wide array of chocolate bars, a Chocoviar wall, beautifully arranged tables of gift boxes, and an authentic gelato bar. Staying true to its Italian roots and commitment to quality, Venchi Philippines will be using original recipes for its hazelnut-based chocolates and gelato, including popular favorites like Chocoviar, Gianduiotti, and Cremini.

Founded in 1878 by a young entrepreneur from Turin named Silviano Venchi, the brand has grown from its humble beginnings to establish a presence in over 70 countries with more than 180 boutiques worldwide, including locations in major cities such as London, Hong Kong, Dubai, New York, Shanghai, Berlin, and Tokyo.

With Venchi’s arrival, Filipino chocolate and gelato enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the brand’s rich heritage and commitment to quality as they indulge in a delectable array of treats.
