Updated ProLine Video Doorbell Now Available with Homekit Integration
Robin Telecom, based in the Netherlands, has unveiled an updated version of their Robin ProLine video Doorbell, enhancing several features of the original model. Known for being the first company to introduce a HomeKit compatible video doorbell back in 2019, Robin has now improved the resolution from 720p to 1080p. This update also maintains compatibility with HomeKit Secure Video, a feature added to their products in January 2020.
What sets the Robin ProLine apart from other video doorbells is its ability to be hardwired, ensuring a direct connection to your network without concerns about WiFi signal strength. The new model offers three simultaneous full HD streams, a capability claimed to be unique to Robin’s video doorbell.
In addition to the enhanced video resolution, the latest model boasts ambient lighting that illuminates the panel in the dark. The custom-etched nameplate, available at an extra cost, is now backlit. Equipped with a large speaker, the doorbell aims to provide clearer audio communication with visitors.
The new Robin ProLine HD doorbell is available in four different finishes: Arctic Silver, Space Grey, Sunset Gold, and Midnight Black. While the device is available for pre-order, with a price tag just under €1500, it may not fit everyone’s budget.
Overall, the upgraded Robin ProLine video Doorbell offers top-notch features that cater to those seeking high-quality video resolution, enhanced audio communication, and stylish design options in their smart home setup.
