To achieve this groundbreaking reveal, the INFINITI team disassembled the SUV into thousands of pieces, removed the engine and fuel systems, and then meticulously cut it into modular pieces. The process also involved reverse-engineering the electrical system to power the interior components such as seats, lighting, and the Klipsch audio system. Despite the complexity of the task, the end result was so seamless that even the head designer of INFINITI could not tell that the QX80 had been taken apart.
