‘UAE and Egypt carry out biggest airdrop in northern Gaza so far’

The UAE and Egypt collaborated on a significant aid mission to northern Gaza, successfully delivering 125 tonnes of aid. This operation, known as “Birds of Goodness,” involved six aircraft and aimed to address the urgent needs of Palestinians during Eid Al Fitr.

The aid package consisted of essential food items and Eid clothing parcels containing various products for families in the region. This mission marked another milestone in the ongoing support efforts, with a total of 1,857 tonnes of aid delivered since the launch of “Birds of Goodness.” In total, the UAE has sent over 2,227 tonnes of aid to northern Gaza as part of Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3.”

The successful completion of this aid drop highlights the continued commitment of both countries to providing humanitarian assistance to those in need. The collaboration between the UAE and Egypt underscores the importance of international cooperation in addressing global crises and supporting vulnerable communities.
