Training center launched by Alibaba Cloud to enhance digital skills

Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence arm of Alibaba Group, has inaugurated the Alibaba Cloud Academy Training Center in Dubai to cater to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Situated in Dubai Internet City, a prominent global tech hub, the training center will serve as a platform for partners and customers to enhance their digital skills.

With a focus on empowering Alibaba Cloud’s ecosystem partners and customers, the training center will provide training, workshops, and certifications. Collaborating with leading security service providers like Aladdin Cyber Security, the center will offer monthly training programs covering various advanced technologies such as AI, database management, and elastic computing.

The ultimate goal of these training initiatives is to keep ecosystem partners and customers informed about the latest Alibaba Cloud technologies and nurture top digital talents. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision for a knowledge-based economy.

Eric Wan, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Middle East, Turkey & Africa, emphasized the company’s commitment to the MEA region’s businesses, aiming to facilitate their digital transformation and long-term success. Alibaba Cloud plans to train 5,000 individuals in the MEA region over the next five years through its physical training center and virtual programs.

The launch of the Alibaba Cloud Academy Training Center highlights Alibaba Cloud’s dedication to supporting the digital growth of businesses in the MEA region, fostering innovation and enabling business expansion.
