Title: ‘New AED 3.1 bn North Bani Yas housing project unveiled by H.H. Sheikh Khaled’

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has officially opened the first phase of the North Bani Yas housing project. This project, valued at AED 3.1 billion, consists of 1,365 new villas specifically for UAE nationals.

Covering an area of 3.1 square kilometers, the North Bani Yas housing project is in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness Sheikh Khaled also announced the name of the larger project as Al Mizn Neighbourhood, which spans 9.06 square kilometers and will include a total of 3,453 new villas that blend modern designs with Emirati heritage. The overall investment value for the entire project is set at AED 9.3 billion.

The villas in the project will range from five to six bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 425 to 602 square meters per unit on plots of 1,080 square meters. This inaugural phase features 12 different architectural facades, with 820 villas designed in traditional aesthetics and 545 villas incorporating contemporary designs. In addition, the project includes 17 parks and recreational areas, a school, five commercial complexes, 15.5 kilometers of bicycle paths, and 89.48 kilometers of pedestrian walkways.

His Highness emphasized that the Al Mizn Neighbourhood project, in conjunction with other housing initiatives throughout Abu Dhabi, underscores the government’s dedication to constructing cohesive communities that offer essential amenities to support Emirati families and enhance their overall well-being.

Since its establishment in 2012, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has been instrumental in developing government housing for UAE Nationals in the Abu Dhabi emirate. Overseeing the distribution of over 40,000 residential plots, the authority has successfully completed more than 16,000 houses and approved over 49,000 housing loans. Furthermore, more than 4,000 citizens have benefited from housing loan exemptions totaling more than AED 149 billion.
