Title: Changi Airport in Singapore No Longer Ranked as World’s Best

Doha’s Hamad International Airport has been named the world’s best airport for the year, according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024. The prestigious title was previously held by Singapore’s Changi Airport and is based on passenger satisfaction surveys conducted between August 2023 and March 2024.

This is the third time that Hamad International Airport has been recognized as the world’s best, having also won the title in 2021 and 2022. The airport boasts modern designs and luxurious amenities, including a luxury hotel with over 100 guest rooms, tropical gardens, and shopping malls.

Changi Airport, known for its iconic indoor waterfall, had held the title of the world’s best airport 12 times from 2013 to 2020 and regained it in 2023. This year, South Korea’s Incheon International Airport secured third place, followed by Japan’s Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport.

Among the top 100 airports in the world, Vietnam’s Noi Bai and Da Nang also made the list. The rankings are determined by passenger evaluations of key airport services such as check-in procedures, immigration clearance, shopping options, and overall departure experience.
