‘The Importance of Deliberate Work’

Renowned trumpeter and composer Riley Mulherkar has released his debut solo album, “Riley,” marking a significant milestone in his jazz career. The album showcases Mulherkar’s talent and creativity, featuring a mix of original compositions and reimagined jazz classics.

Mulherkar’s journey in music began at a young age when he met mentor Wynton Marsalis in third grade. After quickly gaining national recognition for his playing at Seattle’s Garfield High School, Mulherkar moved to New York to study at Juilliard and co-founded the successful brass quartet, The Westerlies.
