The 2024 Miami Michelin award recipients have been announced

Miami continues to solidify its place on the culinary map with three restaurants receiving Michelin stars for the first time. EntreNos in Miami Shores, Ogawa in Little River, and Shingo in Coral Gables are the newest additions to the prestigious list.

Michelin inspectors praised EntreNos for its contemporary cuisine, highlighting chefs Evan Burgess and Osmel Gonzalez’s focus on Florida’s seasonal ingredients. The smoked dry-aged cobia and pumpkin flan with pepita granola are standout dishes at this dinner-only spot.

Ogawa, known for its Japanese cuisine, impressed inspectors with chef Masayuki Komatsu’s omakase menu featuring cooked dishes like baby sea eels and nigiri with unique toppings like osetra caviar. The lotus root and langoustine tempura is a crowd favorite.

Shingo, also offering Japanese cuisine, is helmed by chef Shingo Akikuni, whose meticulous attention to detail and use of high-grade ingredients from Japan have earned him a Michelin star. The chawanmushi with matsutake is a must-try for diners.

With these new additions, Miami now boasts a total of 14 Michelin-starred restaurants, with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon holding two stars. Los Félix in Coconut Grove also received the Green Star distinction for sustainability.
