‘Simplify bill payments and quickly track card spending with new release updates’

Airwallex has recently rolled out several product enhancements aimed at streamlining global bill payments, providing real-time insights into card spend, and enabling the collection of GBP payments via BACS direct debit. These updates are designed to make financial transactions easier for businesses using Airwallex’s platform.

One of the key enhancements is the Bulk Payments feature in Airwallex Bill Pay, which allows users to pay multiple domestic and international bills in one go. This feature is especially useful for businesses with a high volume of vendor invoices to process. Additionally, users can now save time by automatically generating draft bills within their account. By simply forwarding vendor emails to a designated email address, a draft bill will be created automatically, eliminating the need to download and upload bills individually.

In addition, Airwallex has introduced a new user-friendly dashboard in the Cards tab of the Airwallex app, providing businesses with a detailed overview of their card spend. Users can customize settings to gain insights on specific time periods, currencies, and cardholders, helping them better manage their expenses.

Furthermore, customers using Airwallex’s Core API can now collect GBP payments from UK customers via direct debit. This feature also allows businesses to pull funds from their UK bank accounts into their Airwallex account via direct debit. To collect payments via direct debit in the UK, businesses must first obtain a BACS mandate from their customers, which can be registered in just two business days.

Looking ahead, Airwallex will be launching a reimbursement feature to complement its Expense Management product, allowing businesses to easily manage employee and company expenses, whether incurred on Airwallex cards or as out-of-pocket expenses. The feature will enable reimbursement directly to employees’ local bank accounts from one workflow, streamlining the process for domestic and international employees.

Additionally, Airwallex Borderless Cards will soon be available in Canada, enabling Canadian customers to create virtual cards instantly and use them for global spending directly from their multi-currency balance. This feature has already been successful in other regions and will soon be accessible to more customers in Canada.

Overall, these updates from Airwallex are aimed at helping businesses propel forward with streamlined financial processes and enhanced capabilities. Businesses interested in taking advantage of these new features are encouraged to reach out to their account manager for more information.
