Sheikh Mohammed to award ‘Hope Makers’ in the Arab region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is set to crown the ‘Hope Makers’ in the Arab world tomorrow. The crowning ceremony will take place on February 25 at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, Dubai. This event marks the fourth edition of ‘Hope Makers’, the largest initiative in the Arab world aimed at recognizing individuals for their humanitarian efforts and community initiatives.

The winners of the Hope Makers title were selected from over 58 thousand nominations and will be awarded a monetary prize of AED 1 million. The ceremony will host an esteemed gathering of influential humanitarian and cultural figures in the Arab world, with presentations by notable personalities Nishan Derharutyunyan and Mahira Abdelaziz.

The event will feature performances by artists like Hussein Al Jasmi, Ahlam, and Asala in a concert expected to draw over 12 thousand attendees. Additionally, renowned artist Hammoud Al-Khader will contribute to the ceremony with a song carrying a humanitarian message promoting goodness.

The closing ceremony will include the participation of Dr. Khaled Ghattas, a writer and expert in human behavior, who will share insights on hope from a scientific perspective in his unique style. This event promises to be a celebration of philanthropy and community engagement, showcasing the power of individuals to make a positive impact in society.
