‘Regions United by Emirates in June 2024’

Emirates is set to launch a new route from Dubai to Bogotá this year, marking the first time the UAE will be connected to the Colombian city. The Middle Eastern carrier’s South American network will now include four gateways and 19 points across the Americas.

The daily service between Dubai and Bogotá, operated by a Boeing B777-300ER aircraft, is scheduled to start on June 3, 2024. This route will create a significant link between the Middle East and one of South America’s major cities, Bogotá.

The journey between Dubai and Bogotá will include a stopover in Miami, with Emirates becoming the first airline to offer premium services on the popular route between south Florida and Colombia. Miami was selected as the stopover location due to its strong tourism and trade connections with Bogotá.

Emirates’ expansion to Bogotá will complement its existing services to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires in South America. The new daily flights aim to meet the increasing air travel demand between Colombia and the UAE, as well as provide connectivity to Emirates’ global network of 78 destinations not directly served from Bogotá.

President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, highlighted the strategic importance of adding Bogotá to the network, emphasizing the goal of enhancing connectivity, providing more options for travelers, and delivering unparalleled premium experiences both on the ground and in the air.

In addition to the Bogotá route, Emirates will also increase services from Australia to Dubai and onwards to Europe in 2024. For more information, visit the Emirates website at emirates.com.
