The Fifth Educational Sciences Conference, organized by the Academic Unit of Education and Humanities (UAEH) at the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN), kicked off on May 29, 2024. This annual event aims to showcase the research work and projects undertaken by students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Sciences.

Encouraging students to engage in these activities, she emphasized the significance of gaining knowledge in research methods through meaningful learning experiences.

Adriana Bernal Trigueros, the coordinator of the Bachelor’s Program in Educational Sciences, emphasized the value of students’ participation in such events to enrich their educational programs. Through a series of conferences, workshops, and discussions, students have the opportunity to expand their learning beyond the traditional classroom setting, fostering a deeper understanding of educational practices.

Following the opening ceremony, María José Minakata Quiroga, a Professor of Environmental Education at the University of Guadalajara (UDG), presented a session on “Basic experiences and training through learning and service solidarity.” The conference will feature a range of activities, including a research symposium, poster presentations of research projects, discussions, book launches, and more, aimed at furthering the knowledge and skills of the participants.
