Emirates SkyCargo Expands Digital Platform for Freight Forwarders

Emirates SkyCargo has partnered with Cargo.One to offer 15,000 freight forwarders worldwide access to real-time capacity, tariffs, and rates. This new digital platform allows forwarders to select shipment slots seamlessly, as reported by London’s Air Cargo Eye.

The collaboration with Cargo.One has initially launched in Europe, providing forwarders with access to Emirates SkyCargo’s premium transportation services for pharmaceuticals, perishables, and general cargo. The rollout will gradually extend to the Americas, Africa, the Far East, and Australasia, according to an official announcement.

Emirates vice president, Jeffrey van Haeften, emphasized the importance of digitization in providing flexible and convenient options for freight forwarders. He stated, “By streamlining our quotations and bookings, we can focus on delivering outstanding customer service, which is fundamental to our brand. We are committed to investing in digital solutions like Cargo.One to enhance the customer experience and facilitate the movement of goods globally.”

With this development, Emirates SkyCargo aims to enhance the efficiency of its operations and provide a seamless experience for its customers. The partnership with Cargo.One is part of the airline’s strategy to leverage digital solutions for improving its services in the air freight industry.
