President of the UAE meets with Turkish Foreign Minister

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The meeting began with condolences from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the passing of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Turkey in various areas, building on their strategic ties and comprehensive economic partnership. They also addressed regional and international efforts for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the need for a two-state solution for lasting peace in the Middle East.

President Sheikh Mohamed affirmed the UAE’s support for initiatives aimed at promoting security, stability, and peace at regional and global levels. The meeting was attended by other dignitaries, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
