Possibility of rain in certain parts of the UAE this afternoon

Residents in the UAE can look forward to a pleasant day outdoors, with the exception being those heading to the mountains, where there is a possibility of rain. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast a clear to partly cloudy day for most parts of the country, although convective clouds may form over the mountains, leading to rain.

Temperatures are expected to gradually increase throughout the day, with the Met department advising that it will be humid at night until Sunday morning in certain coastal and inland areas. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate, with occasional bursts of activity. Speeds may range from 10 to 20 kmph, reaching up to 35kmph at times.

In terms of sea conditions, wave activity in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman is expected to be light. So, while residents can enjoy the day outside, those planning a trip to the mountains should be prepared for the possibility of rain showers.
