‘Partnership Agreement signed between Etihad Airways and Egypt Air’

Etihad Airways and Egyptair have finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their partnership and provide travelers with more options, improved services, and increased value. This collaboration will encompass co-operation across both airlines’ frequent flyer programs, as well as joint-marketing campaigns and promotions aimed at rewarding customers.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement, highlighting the opportunities it will create for both airlines. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR, emphasized their commitment to offering seamless travel experiences and expanded network access to customers.

The existing codeshare agreement between Etihad Airways and Egyptair already enables passengers to access a wider range of destinations across each other’s networks. With this MoU, the codeshare network will be extended, providing EGYPTAIR travelers with more access to Etihad’s network in Asia and Australia. Similarly, Etihad customers will have additional options to explore destinations on EGYPTAIR’s network.

This strategic partnership aims to streamline the travel experience for customers, with the convenience of booking their entire journey on a single ticket and seamless baggage transfer to their final destination. The expanded codeshare agreement between Etihad Airways and Egyptair will further enhance connectivity for travelers, offering more options and flexibility in their travel plans.
