Opportunity for UAE students to control space robot at NASA

Engineering students from universities in the UAE have the exciting opportunity to operate a robot currently onboard the International Space Station (ISS). The ‘5th Cycle of the Kibo Robot Programming Challenge’ hosted by JAXA, in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre and NASA, allows students to demonstrate their programming skills by taking control of an ‘Astrobee’ robot in outer space.

Students have until May 27th to register for this unique challenge and can apply in teams of 3-6 members.
