‘Newest Lulu Hypermarket Opens at Dubai Outlet Mall’

Dubai celebrated the inauguration of a new Lulu Hypermarket at the Dubai Outlet Mall, marking the group’s 25th outlet in the city and its 296th worldwide. Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman of Lulu Group, shared the ambitious goal of expanding the group’s global footprint to 300 outlets within the next year.

Despite challenges such as shipping logistics, Yusuff Ali highlighted the strong demand in the UAE and GCC region. He expressed optimism as governments worldwide work on solutions to support retailers, hinting at a bright future for the industry.

The opening ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, and Naser Khammas Al Yammahi, Chairman of Dubai Outlet Mall. The new store spans 97,000 square feet, introducing the Middle East’s first ‘Outlet concept’ hypermarket and solidifying its position as a premier retail destination in Dubai.

With a wide array of products sourced locally and internationally, the hypermarket caters to diverse customer needs across various categories. From groceries, fresh produce, and meats to electronics, IT products, and home appliances, the store offers a comprehensive shopping experience for its patrons.

Yusuff Ali expressed his excitement for the venture, projecting a daily footfall of 40,000 to 50,000 people. He emphasized the hypermarket’s commitment to providing high-quality products at competitive prices to meet the growing demand for globally sourced items. Additionally, he reiterated the group’s dedication to supporting the UAE’s sustainable development goals and its plans for further expansion under the country’s leadership, aligning with the nation’s progress.
