New Tablet Model with PaperMatte Finish, Coming Soon to Philippines

HUAWEI has officially unveiled the new MatePad 11.5″ S PaperMatte Edition in the APAC region. This latest addition to the MatePad lineup features an impressive 11.5-inch TFT LCD (IPS) HUAWEI PaperMatte panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2.8K resolution at 2800 x 1840, and a P3 color rating. The tablet also boasts a 3:2 aspect ratio and PaperMatte technology that reduces glare for better viewing and enhanced eye care.

Powered by an undisclosed Kirin chip, the MatePad 11.5″ S PaperMatte Edition comes with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a large 8,800mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-C. In terms of cameras, it sports a 13MP rear sensor with AF and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Other notable features include 4x speakers, HUAWEI 9.0 audio optimization, and two microphones for improved voice pickup during calls. The tablet supports WiFi 6 connectivity and comes with additional features like a Cavity Slot Magnetic Antenna and anti-interference NearLink Antenna.

Additionally, the MatePad 11.5″ S PaperMatte Edition is compatible with the NearLink M-Pencil stylus and NearLink Keyboard. It also features the GoPaint App with over 110 professional brushes and paper-like canvases, as well as the FangTian Painting Engine for creating multiple layers.

Running on HarmonyOS 4.2, the tablet offers HUAWEI SuperHub technology for seamless file transfers between linked devices. It also includes Multi-Window mode and App Multiplier for enhanced multitasking capabilities.

While pricing information for Malaysia and the Philippines is not yet available, the MatePad 11.5″ S PaperMatte Edition is expected to launch in the Philippines soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative tablet from HUAWEI.
