Jet2 Announces New Summer Routes from Birmingham to Europe

Jet2 has revealed exciting new routes for British tourists looking to travel to Europe this summer. The airline will now offer flights to Tivat in Montenegro, Lesvos in Greece, and Bergen in Norway from Birmingham.

Starting on October 31, the first flights to Tivat will operate twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. This new service will provide Britons with the opportunity to explore the grand marina, spectacular restaurants, and designer shops that Tivat has to offer.

Jet2 describes Tivat as a town that twinkles with luxury, boasting classic architecture, sacred monuments, colorful streets, and lush vegetation that highlight Montenegro’s rich history and Mediterranean charm. Beyond Tivat, Montenegro offers luscious lakes, peaceful bays, and picturesque hikes through its National Park.

In addition to Tivat, Jet2 will expand its services from Birmingham to Bergen, Norway, starting next week with two Thursday services from May 9. The airline will also introduce new flights to Bergen from Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle.

Bergen is known for its stunning Norwegian Fjords and picturesque harbor lined with fashionable restaurants and bars. The city’s harbour district, Bryggen, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering visitors a glimpse into medieval settlement history and culture.

Meanwhile, Jet2 customers can experience the beauty of Lesvos with weekly Sunday services starting on May 26 until October 6. Jet2’s CEO, Steve Heapy, expressed delight in launching these new routes and providing customers with unparalleled holiday options from Birmingham Airport.
