New RD Series Monitors Targeted towards Developers Released by BenQ
BenQ, a global leader in digital lifestyle devices and professional display technology, has announced the upcoming launch of the RD Series, the world’s first line of monitors designed specifically for programmers. These monitors are equipped with BenQ-exclusive Fine-Coated Panel technology, with advanced anti-glare and anti-reflective properties to enhance coding clarity.

The RD Series displays feature an advanced coding mode that delivers crystal-clear fonts for improved code differentiation in light and dark themes, making it adaptable to various development work environments. With a dedicated Coding HotKey, programmers can easily access this coding mode to help achieve a focused state of flow.
To ensure maximum clarity and efficiency for coding comfort, the RD Series monitors have a unique MoonHalo backlight design that provides elegant and comforting illumination, allowing users to stay focused during long coding sessions. These monitors also offer customizable settings for brightness, color temperature, light mode, and more.
In terms of eye health and comfort, RD Series monitors are equipped with Night Hours Protection, which includes minimum brightness technology, an eye-care filter for low-light settings, dark-room display optimization, and Brightness Intelligence Gen 2 automatic ambient light detection.
The RD Series will be launched in the first half of 2024 and will include models such as the RD240Q, RD280U & RD280UA, and RD320U & RD320UA, with options for ergonomically adjustable or fixed stands. The monitors feature different aspect ratios to accommodate more lines of code vertically and provide ample screen real estate for complex coding.
