New Raffles Hotel Set to Open in Trojena, Saudi Arabia

Raffles Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with NEOM, has announced plans to introduce a new resort in Trojena, a picturesque year-round mountain retreat situated in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Expected to welcome guests in 2027, Raffles Trojena promises an opportunity for visitors to uncover and savor the natural beauty of the region.

Nestled amidst the Trojena mountains, the design of Raffles Trojena boasts a cutting-edge, circular layout that allows guests to admire the stunning surroundings from any angle. With 105 guestrooms strategically placed around the perimeter, the resort will uphold the esteemed service standards of the Raffles brand, including personalized butler service, exquisite dining options, and a rich emphasis on local arts and culture.

Philip Gullett, the executive director and head of the Trojena region, anticipates Trojena becoming Saudi Arabia’s premier year-round mountain and adventure destination. The resort will offer a plethora of activities, ranging from sports events to skiing, hiking, Arabian cuisine experiences, and stargazing adventures.

As the latest addition to the NEOM Hotel Division’s portfolio, Raffles Trojena will be located in the Discover cluster of the mountain destination. This cluster is designed around an exploration of the natural world and features iconic landmarks like the Discovery Tower, the Observatory, and the Cosmic Gate observatory.
