‘New Polestar Phone debuts in China for ,000’

Polestar, the electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently launched its first smartphone in collaboration with Meizu, a Chinese smartphone company. The Polestar Phone is essentially based on the Meizu 21 Pro with added features like signature yellow accents around the camera LED flash ring and the Polestar logo. The phone comes with a 6.79-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage.

In terms of battery, the Polestar Phone boasts a 5,050mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The device also comes with an IP68 rating, a unique Polestar-branded protective case, and a charger included in the box.

The camera setup on the Polestar Phone includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto zoom lens. It also features a 32-megapixel selfie camera and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security.

While the Polestar Phone is currently only available in China through the Polestar application, it has already made it to Google Play’s supported devices list. Priced at 7,388 yuan, which translates to approximately ,020, this special edition device offers a premium experience. There is hope for a limited release in more regions in the future, given its impressive features and specifications.
