New O’Fallon Restaurant to Open with Swag Giveaways

Outback Steakhouse has finally set an official opening date for its highly anticipated O’Fallon location at 1102 Central Park Drive. The restaurant will be ready to welcome customers starting Tuesday, April 2.

To mark the occasion, a charitable ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, at 10:30 a.m. On the first day of business, up to ,000 of the proceeds will be donated to Veterans Foreign Wars Post 805 in O’Fallon.

Attendees at the ribbon-cutting event will have the chance to grab some free Outback merchandise (while supplies last) and enter giveaways. There will also be an opportunity to win a year of free meals at Outback Steakhouse by enrolling in the restaurant’s rewards loyalty program.

The O’Fallon location is notably smaller than the average Outback restaurant, spanning 4,694 square feet. The design of this particular branch is a first for Illinois, featuring Instagram-worthy artwork and a mural by artist Lindsey Jenneman. The mural depicts a koala sporting sunglasses while riding in a hot air balloon, with the reflection of Collinsville’s Brooks Catsup Bottle water tower visible in the glasses.

The bar takes inspiration from the Great Barrier Reef, and the dining area can accommodate approximately 187 guests. The community has been without an Outback Steakhouse since the closure of the Swansea location at 4390 N. Illinois St. after a fire in April 2021 rendered the building unsalvageable.
