New Mobile iOS Shopping App Launched by Williams Sonoma

Williams-Sonoma Inc.’s brands, Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home, have launched a new mobile iOS shopping app that offers customers a seamless shopping experience. The new app allows customers to browse curated collections of products, manage registries on the go, access thousands of recipes from the Williams Sonoma test kitchen, watch exclusive how-to videos, and create smart grocery lists.

The app, now available for free in the App Store, also offers shoppable images for hosting and entertaining ideas, curated looks for different rooms in the house, virtual connections with design experts, and notifications for in-store events and in-stock items.

According to Williams Sonoma president Felix Carbullido, the app is designed to inspire customers and provide them with an enhanced mobile shopping experience. It also replicates several in-store customer service experiences for online and mobile customers.

In addition to the Williams Sonoma app, Pottery Barn banners have also released new apps. In January 2023, Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen introduced mobile apps with features like 3D augmented reality shopping. Pottery Barn’s app, released in November 2023, offers scheduling with a Design Crew expert, sharing favorite items on social media, an enhanced registry experience, virtual product previews, curated room looks, and an Apple Pay checkout option.

Overall, Williams-Sonoma Inc. continues to innovate with its mobile apps across its various brands, offering customers new and convenient ways to shop and engage with their favorite products.
