New Medical School Campus with 600 Student Housing Beds to be Developed in Hagerstown, Maryland

Construction has officially begun on the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine campus in Hagerstown, following a partnership between Meritus Health and Radnor Property Group. This public-private collaboration will see the development of a campus located on an existing Meritus hospital campus, featuring six buildings surrounding a village green.

The first phase of the project will focus on three four-story buildings, each offering around 100 units. In addition to residential space, the campus will also include retail and office areas, as well as a library and café. The residential buildings will provide a total of 600 beds in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations for student housing.

The project, designed in collaboration with Design Collective, is on track for completion in 2025. This innovative development aims to provide a state-of-the-art campus for the new school of medicine in Hagerstown. With a focus on both education and community, the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine campus is set to become a hub for medical learning and innovation in the region.
