New Marinas Opened by AD Ports Group: Saadiyat Marina & Ferry Terminal and Rabdan Marina

AD Ports Group has officially opened the Saadiyat Marina & Ferry Terminal and Rabdan Marina in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT).

The Saadiyat Marina & Ferry Terminal is a versatile marine hub catering to different types of vessels. It features 64 floating pontoons for mooring, a 10-meter-wide slipway, 12 dry berths, 6 commercial outlets, 70 parking spaces, and modern administrative buildings. The state-of-the-art ferry terminal with 2 ramps provides essential links between Saadiyat and nearby islands, serving both the maritime community and visitors.

Located in the Rabdan area, Rabdan Marina offers 19 berths for leisure boats and jet skis, a 14-meter-wide slipway, 18 dry berths, F&B outlets, utilities on the dock, and round-the-clock security and CCTV surveillance. The marina also provides services such as boat launching, recovery, washing, engine flushing, and assisted berthing.

Both marinas feature retail venues for the boating community, residents, and tourists, with Rabdan Marina offering a stunning view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Moreover, eco-friendly initiatives have been implemented, including the installation of ecological concrete mattresses on the seabed and Eco Sea Wall Panels on the quay walls. These initiatives aim to promote the growth of organisms, improve water quality, and enhance biodiversity, contributing to the preservation of marine life and habitats.

The inauguration of these state-of-the-art facilities marks a significant milestone in enhancing maritime services and amenities for local mariners and boat owners in Abu Dhabi.
