New luxury hotel in Moscow: Stella di Mosca

Stella di Mosca Hotel, situated in the heart of Moscow, offers a luxurious retreat within a fully renovated neoclassical building. This hotel provides a peaceful escape from the bustling city center and tourist crowds. Boasting a generous courtyard garden, the hotel features 65 rooms and suites with rates starting from EUR 830 per night.

The highlight of this hotel is the sprawling 1400-square-meter spa, complete with a 25-meter indoor heated pool, an Italian restaurant, and a chocolate boutique. The rooms and suites are among the largest in Moscow, offering diverse views. Renowned architecture firm Antonio Citterio & Patricial Viel has designed the building and interiors, incorporating custom-made furnishings and decor elements.

Originally planned as a Bulgari Hotel, this property has opened with many similarities to other Bulgari Hotels. While the branding under Bulgari has been removed, the hotel’s amenities and design elements still reflect the luxurious Bulgari style. The wealth of Russians and influencers attending the grand opening created some confusion as they referred to it as “Bulgari Hotel Moscow.”

It is worth noting that Bulgari Hotels are not owned by Bulgari or LVMH, with only two properties franchised by Marriott International and Bulgari. The investment per room for a Bulgari Hotel is double that of a Ritz-Carlton hotel, highlighting the exclusive luxury associated with the brand.

Looking toward the future, Bulgari Hotels has announced upcoming openings in Miami (2026) and the Maldives (2027), along with a Bulgari Residences Tower in Dubai (2027). Despite the property in Moscow being independently owned, the integration of Bulgari Hotels into LVMH’s Hospitality unit could potentially enhance consistency and excellence across the brand.

Overall, Stella di Mosca Hotel offers a decadent escape in the heart of Moscow, combining sleek luxury with unparalleled elegance. With future developments on the horizon, Bulgari Hotels continues to redefine luxury hospitality on a global scale.
