New Irish Bar & Restaurant Opened in DXB to Honor Hospitality Innovator

Dubai International (DXB) recently celebrated the opening of O’Regan’s Irish Bar & Restaurant, paying tribute to the legacy of Dr. Brendan O’Regan, the pioneer of airport duty-free and hospitality industries. The establishment, located in DXB’s Terminal 3, Concourse C, offers guests a stylish environment with inspiring airport views and a variety of global food and beverage options.

The grand opening ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including Minister Patrick O’Donovan TD, Alison Milton, Ambassador of Ireland to the UAE, Paul Griffiths, CEO at Dubai Airports, and Colm McLoughlin, CEO and EVC of Dubai Duty Free, among others. The event was highlighted by a performance from Irish singer-songwriter Conleth McGeary and the unveiling of specially commissioned art by Seamus Connolly and Anna McKeown.

Eugene Barry, EVP of Commercial at Dubai Airports, expressed his excitement about the new hospitality concept, stating that O’Regan’s honors Dr. Brendan O’Regan’s pioneering legacy while enhancing the airport’s range of services. The opening of O’Regan’s Irish Bar & Restaurant is part of Dubai Airports’ commitment to providing an exceptional experience for guests passing through the airport.
