New Collaboration: The Bulgari Serpentini x Tadao Ando – Wrist Enthusiast

Renowned architect Tadao Ando and luxury brand Bulgari have joined forces to create four exclusive pieces of the Serpenti Tubogas watch collection. This collaboration marks a new chapter in their partnership, with Ando bringing his unique architectural expertise to the design process.

Ando, a self-taught architect from Osaka, Japan, is well-known for his ability to seamlessly blend nature and architecture in his work. Winner of the prestigious Pritzker Prize, Ando is celebrated for his use of light and materials to create harmony in his designs. With the Serpenti Tubogas collection, Ando continues this theme by drawing inspiration from the serpent’s role in nature.

The four limited edition watches in the collection each represent a different season, showcasing the serpent’s transformation and renewal as it sheds its skin. The dials of the watches are crafted from green aventurine, tiger’s eye, and pink or white mother of pearl, carefully cut to mimic the scales of a serpent. Two rows of diamonds line the watch case, adding a touch of luxury and enhancing the play of light in Ando’s designs.

The four pieces—natsu (summer), aki (autumn), fuyu (winter), and haru (spring)—will be released in their respective seasons, allowing wearers to experience the beauty and symbolism of each unique watch. The Serpenti Tubogas collection is a true testament to the timeless elegance and creativity of both Tadao Ando and Bulgari.
