Abdulaziz Alnowaiser appointed as CEO of Emaar, The Economic City in Saudi Arabia
Emaar, The Economic City, the master developer of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia, has announced the appointment of Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from May 1, 2024. Alnowaiser brings a wealth of experience in turnaround, finance, and corporate governance to his new role, where he will drive the execution of the company’s long-term strategic vision.
With over two decades of executive experience, Alnowaiser most recently served as the CEO of Tahakom Investments Co., a wholly-owned company of the Public Investment Fund with subsidiaries in various sectors such as technology, aviation, traffic management, and real estate investments. He currently chairs the Board and Executive Committee at Tawuniya Insurance Company and has held board positions in several listed and non-listed companies.
