New bus service launched connecting Muscat to Sharjah

A new bus service starting on February 27 is set to revolutionize travel between Muscat and Sharjah, offering passengers a comfortable, reliable, and affordable journey. The route will pass through Shinas, providing travelers with a seamless experience.

With fares starting at RO 10 for one-way trips and RO 19 for return journeys, Mwasalat aims to make cross-border travel accessible to a wide range of passengers. In addition, passengers will enjoy a generous baggage allowance, with hand-carry luggage limited to 7 kilos and check-in baggage allowed up to 23 kilos.

The inaugural bus will depart from Muscat’s Azaiba Bus Station at 06:30 AM, arriving at Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah at 3:40 PM. A second service will depart later in the day, offering flexibility for travelers. Similarly, passengers departing from Sharjah can catch the first bus from Al Jubail Bus Station at 6:30 AM, arriving at Azaiba Bus Station by 2:30 PM. A second bus departing at 4 PM provides an alternative for those preferring a later departure time, with an estimated arrival in Muscat at 11:50 PM.
