New Andaz hotel set to open in Miami Beach as part of Hyatt’s expansion into Florida
Luxury lifestyle hotel Andaz Miami Beach is set to open in late 2024 after undergoing a property-wide renovation. The hotel, owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc., will transform from The Confidante Miami Beach into the new Andaz Miami Beach, offering guests a unique and immersive experience.
The redesign will include a barrier-free lobby, innovative pools, an exciting spa, and inspiring guestrooms and meeting spaces. One of the highlights of the renovation is a new culinary collaboration with José Andrés Group, promising immersive dining experiences for guests.
The hotel will temporarily close for renovations starting in March 2024, with the aim of reopening as the Andaz Miami Beach later in the year. General Manager Amy Johnson expressed excitement about the transformation, stating that the hotel will embody the essence of Miami Beach while offering a bold and unique experience for guests.
With this new addition, Hyatt Hotels Corporation expands its brand footprint in one of the top leisure markets globally. The Andaz brand aims to create experiences that connect guests with their surroundings, encouraging curiosity and exploration.
The Andaz Miami Beach will feature three towers overlooking the beach, offering a one-of-a-kind ocean view check-in experience. The property will also introduce new dining concepts and communal spaces, including an outdoor terrace and a bar-forward lounge designed to foster a sense of community.
José Andrés Group will bring its world-class dining experience to the heart of Miami Beach with three distinct venues at the Andaz Miami Beach. Guests can look forward to a mix of traditional and modern cuisine, paired with innovative cocktails in a vibrant setting.
Overall, the Andaz Miami Beach is set to redefine the luxury hotel experience in Florida, offering guests a refreshing and immersive stay from late 2024 onwards.
