New AI tools enhance the intelligence of Microsoft Edge

Microsoft is set to introduce new AI capabilities to its Edge browser, making it a more powerful tool for users. According to reports, Microsoft is working on adding a Designer tool and Copilot Notebook integration to the browser.

The Designer tool will use AI to enhance image editing capabilities in Edge. Users will be able to create and edit images more efficiently, including tasks like background removal. This feature will be handy for users who frequently save and edit images from the web.

Additionally, the update will bring Copilot Notebook integration to Edge, allowing users to analyze longer pieces of text with an increased character limit from 4,000 to 18,000. This integration will provide users with more flexibility in utilizing the AI-powered tool.

These updates are currently only available in the Canary build of Chrome, indicating that they are not yet accessible to the general public. The release date for these new features remains uncertain, but users can anticipate an enhanced browsing experience once these updates are rolled out.
