New acquisition made by agent in the North East

Pattinson Estate Agency has recently made its second acquisition in a matter of months by bringing Browns Estate Agents under its wing in the North East. This news follows their previous takeover of Ryedales Estate Agency in Cramlington towards the end of last year.

The owners of Stockton and Norton-based Browns Estate Agency, Chris and Trish Brown, have decided to retire, but the majority of the staff will be staying on with the company. Some employees have transitioned to the Pattinson Estate Agency Stockton branch, while others remain at the Norton branch, which now marks the 27th office for Pattinson Estate Agency in the region. Simon Brown will continue his survey and professional work within the business, and all auction operations will be moved to Pattinson’s national award-winning auction facility, Pattinson Auction.

Caroline Pattinson, the managing director of Pattinson Estate Agency, expressed that while it is bittersweet to see Chris and Trish retire, they are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for their clients. The services for Browns’ clients will largely remain the same, with the only change being the rebranding to Pattinson Estate Agency. The joining of the Browns sales and lettings team is seen as a perfect fit for the business, as their client-focused approach aligns well with Pattinson’s values. With almost 50 years of experience as a family-run independent estate agency, the focus remains on customer satisfaction and providing top-notch service. Best wishes were extended to Chris and Trish for their future endeavors.
