‘New 400-gate airport terminal proposed in Dubai, set to be the largest in the world’

The Emirati leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced plans for the construction of the world’s largest airport terminal in Dubai. This billion development will be located at the existing Al Maktoum International Airport and will feature 400 gates, five parallel runways, and a capacity for 260 million annual travelers. This is five times the size of Dubai’s current international airport.

In addition to the new terminal, there are plans for a one-million-person satellite city to be developed alongside it, along with a logistics hub for international carriers. The vision is expected to be realized within the next ten years, according to reports. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that this project is being built for future generations, ensuring continuous and stable development for the nation.

Dubai aims to become the world’s airport, port, urban hub, and new global center. This ambitious project reflects the country’s commitment to progress and growth for generations to come.
