Nahyan bin Mubarak commends innovators for promoting human values

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, commended the significant participation of over 80 Arab and international writers and intellectuals at the Ishraqat Festival. This event, held at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, aimed to promote tolerance, coexistence, and human values on a global scale.

The third day of the festival, organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, drew a large crowd of intellectuals and knowledge enthusiasts interested in the connection between knowledge and human values. Various Arab and international intellectual and creative personalities led discussions during the festival, including the “Ishraqat Dialogue” sessions with writer Hassan Abdel Mawgoud and novelist Aisha Al-Basri, exploring the role of media in promoting coexistence and human values. These insightful sessions were moderated by Arab publisher Ahmed Rashad.

“Ishraqat Festival” also showcased “Inspiring Ishraqat,” where writers and inspiring individuals engaged in open dialogues with visitors, sharing their experiences and insights. Sheikh Nahyan expressed his appreciation for the contributions of global writers to the festival, highlighting the UAE’s commitment to peace and human fraternity. The event served as a platform for increasing knowledge and fostering dialogue among the diverse cultures present in the UAE.

Sheikh Nahyan emphasized the significance of enhancing understanding of tolerance and human fraternity, noting that the festival’s Arab and international participation underscored its success in promoting these values.
